Privacy policy.
Catch is made by BuildMonkeys LLC. This is what the app stores, where, and how to delete it.
In short
- Catch doesn't collect any data. Everything you put in it stays on your iPhone.
- There are no accounts. We never ask for your name, email address or phone number.
- There is no server, and there are no ads, no analytics and no tracking. We don't sell or share anything.
Stored only on your phone
Your ideas, lists, projects, reminders, places and settings are saved on your iPhone and shared only with Catch's own widgets. Deleting the app deletes them.
Microphone and speech recognition
Catch listens only when you ask it to: while you hold +, after you tap the mic, or when you start it from the Action button, a widget or Siri. It turns what you say into text with Apple's speech recognition. For most languages this happens on your iPhone. For the rest, the audio is sent to Apple to be recognized, under Apple's privacy policy. Catch never sends audio anywhere itself and doesn't keep recordings.
Location
If you save places such as Home or Office, Catch uses your location to remind you when you leave or arrive. Places and location stay on your iPhone, and Catch asks for location access only when you add or use a place.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled on your iPhone. Nothing goes through a server.
Deleting your data
Delete an item in the app to remove it, or delete the app to remove everything. Because nothing reaches us, there is nothing for us to look up or delete.
Children
Catch doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children.
